Jai Maa Jhandewali Jan Sewa Samiti is a registered charitable trust that has been spreading the divine light and blessings of Maa Jhandewali to people for the past 18 years. Our organization is founded on the sacred principles of devotion to the Divine Mother, social service, and humanitarian welfare.
Foundation Overview
Spiritual Tradition
Every year, our dedicated volunteers bring the eternal flame (Akhand Jyot) of Maa Jhandewali from the holy shrine of Maa Jwala Ji in Himachal Pradesh to Delhi. On the very day of the arrival of this holy flame, 'Chhoti Mata Ki Chowki' is organized, featuring devotional singing (Mother's praise) by renowned bhajan singers and a grand community kitchen (Bhandara). The next day, a grand 'Vishal Bhagwati Jagran' is organized, where renowned artists from across the country sing praises of the Mother. On this occasion, special invitations are extended to the underprivileged sections of society to honor them.

Formation of Charitable Trust
Looking at 18 years of continuous service journey and growing social responsibilities, the 5 main trustees and the 12-member executive committee of the organization unanimously decided to register this service work as a Charitable Trust. The objective is to make our social welfare activities more organized, transparent, and widespread.

Our Key Service Activities
- Healthcare Service: Free Blood Donation Camps, Health Check-up Camps, cataract surgeries, and providing artificial limbs to differently-abled persons.
- Education Service: Assisting children from financially weaker sections with school fees, books, and uniforms.
- Elderly & Dependent Care: Serving in old age homes, celebrating birthdays, and providing food rations and medicines.
- Basic Amenities: Arranging hand pumps, water tanks, and solar lights in areas facing water crises.
- Environmental Protection: Tree plantation drives, cleanliness campaigns, and environmental awareness programs.

Jai Maa Jhandewali Jan Sewa Samiti (Regd.)
Jai Maa Jhandewali Jan Sewa Samiti (Regd.) shall undertake its charitable activities in accordance with the aims and objectives set forth herein for the benefit of society. All donations, grants, and contributions received by the Samiti shall be utilized solely for the purposes for which they are contributed and in furtherance of the Samiti’s stated objectives. Donors may be invited to observe, participate in, or witness the implementation of projects and welfare activities supported by their contributions, thereby promoting transparency, accountability, and effective utilization of resources for public welfare.
Environmental Protection
To work for the protection of the environment by spreading awareness about environmental hazards, products and materials, engaging in research and experiments regarding environment protection, working in the field of Green Revolution, Solar Energy, Environment and Forest Protection, and organizing seminars on environment protection.
Pollution Awareness
To make people aware about environmental issues like global warming, saving earth, trees, paper, preventing soil erosion, reducing pollution of all kinds, and taking up various activities for environmental protection.
Traditional Therapies
To promote traditional therapies like Yoga, Naturopathy, Meditation, Acupressure, Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, Ayurveda, Homeopathy, Reiki etc., and arranging camps and seminars in rural areas and parks.
Underprivileged Education
To promote formal and non-formal education for poor and needy children, youth and adults at primary, secondary, higher, technical and professional levels. To run/operate different types of education programs/schools and free coaching centers for underprivileged children.
Street Children
To provide education, training, love and care to street and working children. To provide students with books, scientific instruments, other applications and/or render financial assistance and monetary aid for education purposes.
Arts Training
To arrange and manage training institutions in Computer, Fine Arts, Crafts, Music, Painting, Modeling, Dancing, Yoga, Physical Education and other professional training subjects. To establish residential and non-residential cultural centers for promoting Music, Dance and other Arts.
Student Scholarships
To establish, maintain and run studentships, scholarships and render other kinds of aid to students including supply of books, stipends, medals and other incentives to study, without any distinction as to caste, colour, race, creed or sex.
Educational Spread
To work, spread or promote education or learning in all its branches including establishment of Universities, Schools, Colleges, research grants, endowments, scholarships and fellowships for deserving students and scholars, and cash awards for SC/ST's, backward classes and widows.
Charitable Hospitals
To establish/run/manage charitable hospitals, health centers, mobile health clinics, research centers, health camps, screening camps, diagnosis camps to provide health care, counseling and referral services for all kinds of illness and diseases, and to facilitate rehabilitation from natural and manmade disasters.
Rural Camps
To organize free medical camps, blood donation camps, eye donation camps etc. in villages and rural areas for the benefit of the general public all over India. To provide basic medical facility, sanitation, general health care and other needful support to overcome sufferings from natural and manmade disasters.
Women Welfare
To organize and take up Health, Educational and Welfare programs for needy & poor Women & Children and Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes. To organize awareness camps, health camps, workshops, campaigns and exhibitions to educate people and generate awareness among them.
Health Awareness
To provide various medical services such as organizing health and awareness camps of Immunization, Eye Care, Motherhood, Child Care, and Communicable Diseases.
Vulnerable Groups
To run different types of health programs to raise the health status of vulnerable groups, poor and needy.
HIV/AIDS
To fight against HIV/AIDS and other communicable diseases.
Hospital Construction
To construct, set up, support, and aid dispensaries, hospitals, maternity homes, physiotherapy centers, medical wards and centers, Dharamshalas, old age homes for the benefit of the general public all over India.
Handicapped Assistance
To arrange and provide medical aid and other assistance necessary for living to needy people who are incapable, handicapped, mentally/physically retarded and financially unfit.
Orphan Relief
To grant relief by way of donations, contributions, subscriptions, monetary and financial assistance or aid to the Dumb, Blind, Deaf, Orphan, Widows, SC/ST's and poor or needy persons or to any organization or institution established for such purposes. To establish & run institutes & hostels for such persons.
Medical Colleges
Establishment and/or acquisition and maintenance and support of Medical colleges, Dental colleges, Para Medical colleges, Hospitals, dispensaries and other institutions for imparting education and training to students.
Mobile Ambulances
To make arrangements for mobile Ambulances for victims of road accidents, to provide help to pregnant ladies in rural areas to take them to hospitals, and also to provide assistance to old people in case of any emergency.
Family Planning
To organize various kinds of programs & activities relating to family planning and to diffuse useful knowledge about medicines, equipments, methods used for family planning, and also to provide Family Counseling facilities.
Senior Citizens
To provide financial, emotional, psychological, social and medical support to senior citizens by setting up various drop-in centers, senior citizen homes, old-age homes and other entertainment centers so that these highly honorable people should not be neglected.
Anti-Addiction Awareness
To provide information and education/useful knowledge and medical advice to the general public on hazards of smoking cigarettes, bidis, taking alcohol etc., through holding awareness camps & programs and organizing lectures by expert doctors, journalists and other learned persons.
Child Labour
To start various programs against child labor and take up effective but reasonable & lawful steps in this connection for the welfare of such children.
Community Development
To open, establish, promote, set up, run, maintain, assist, finance, support & help various community development organizations and construct/develop community Halls, Marriage Homes, night shelters, old age homes, health care centers, charitable dispensaries, hospitals, libraries, reading rooms, playgrounds, stadiums, yoga training centers, gymnasiums, Anganwari, Mahila ashrams, Orphanages, Leprosy Centers and Institutions for upliftment and betterment of the weaker section of society and for the general welfare of the public all over India.
Human Rights
To promote and advocate Human Rights and Fundamental Freedom for all without any discrimination of race, religion, caste, color, sex and language.
Youth Development
To work for youth development through various ways of providing them proper employment, training and motivational orientation for mobilizing youth-power for the development of the country.
Poor Aid
To give aid to deserving needy or poor persons in the shape of money, cloth, articles, food or providing them with lodging or residential facilities generally to help poor persons.
Legal Assistance
To provide and facilitate legal assistance to underprivileged and poor sections of society to fight for their rights and justice. To make people aware about their democratic & fundamental rights.
Social Brotherhood
To create a sense of brotherhood, love, humanity, affection, cooperation and friendship amongst the members of the society.
Natural Resources
To undertake activities for sensitizing people to preserve the natural resources of our country and to maintain the ecological balance of the area.
Water Conservation
To establish, dig, construct, maintain ponds, wells, tube wells, tanks, hand pumps, pools etc. at such places in India for the use and benefit of the people engaged in agriculture & allied activities.
Herbal Plants
To promote and protect natural herbs and plants by cultivation, preservation, storage, processing, demonstration, creating botanical gardens and providing necessary training.
Martyrs Welfare
To work for welfare & support for the families of Martyrs and Prisoners.
Animal Protection
To work against the exploitation of Animals & Birds and make sincere efforts to protect them.
Heritage Protection
To save or protect National Heritage, Buildings or Places of archeological & historic importance.
Women Empowerment
To make efforts for the education, welfare and development of women, children and backward communities in both urban and rural areas throughout the country.
Rural Research
To conduct research studies on the social and economic conditions of people with a view to involving ways and means for their development within their social historical framework and to seek promotion of rural development such as provision of drinking water, rural industrialization and Public Convenience for people.
International Collaboration
To provide help to the public through organizations/trusts like NEPA, UNESCO, and utilize the financial help in development of poor and needy people.
Knowledge Publication
To undertake and promote the publication & translation of journals, research papers and books and to develop audiovisual programs to disseminate knowledge pertaining to the objectives of the society.
Tribal Outreach
To work in any part of the Indian Territory, mostly the rural & tribal areas including low income areas of metro and non-metro cities for achievement of the objectives of the trust.
Fund Raising
To raise funds for the Trust for accomplishment of its objects. The trust will accept cash, cheques, drafts, gifts & donations in cash or in kind. The receipt duly signed by the managing trustee will be issued to the donor.
Building Construction
To construct, maintain, alter, improve or develop any building necessary or convenient for accomplishment of objects of the Trust.
Branch Offices
To open administrative, branch and correspondence offices anywhere in India to run the trust activities smoothly & for the benefit of general public.
Fund Investment
To invest the money of the Trust in accordance with Section 11(5) of The Income Tax Act, 1961.
Charitable Application
Provided that the income as well as the corpus shall be applied only towards public charitable purposes as aforesaid and accumulation of income, if any, shall also be made and deemed to be made for applications to such public charitable purposes.
Non-Discrimination
To do all public, charitable purposes for public benefit without any discrimination of Caste, Creed, Color, Gender, Religion, Faith, Race or any Nationality. That in case any of the objects of the Trust are held to be non-charitable within the meaning of section 2(15) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, or any statutory modification(s) thereof, the Trustee(s) shall not carry out such objectives.
